About Buddy & Crystal ~ Wolfhound x (on trial 11-4-2018)
Buddy is a 7 year old, large, male, Wolfhound cross, looking for a forever home. Dont let his age fool you, when he plays he acts like a 7 month old puppy! If you love big, friendly, goofy, loyal dogs, then Buddy is your man!. He loves human company and is dreaming of a home where he is part of the family.
Crystal is a 12 year old, female, wolfhound cross who is ready to retire with her forever family! If you love big gentle giants then Crystal is the girl for you. Crystal is very loyal and there is nothing she loves more then sitting by your side and hanging out no matter what you're doing. She just loves human company and is very calm and placid.
Crystal & Buddy love getting pats and are very gentle although due to their size they would be best suited to a family with older kids. They are let inside with us when we are home and they are outside during the day when at work. They currently sleeps on her bed outside in the shed.
Crystal & Buddy are calm and well behaved. They can sit, stay and lay down. They walks wonderfully on a loose lead and are a delight to walk, although we are still working on Buddy's his recall off lead. They travel well in the car either inside or on the back of a ute .Crystal & Buddy will bark at strange noises at the fence to let you know someone is there but they are not a nuisance barker.
Crystal & Buddy are an absolute delight to be around and doesn't let their age stop them being part of the family or joining in on whatever you may be doing. Can you give Crystal & Buddy a place to retire and live out the rest of their lives?
For more information or to meet Crystal & Buddy, please contact their foster carer Lauren on 0431 551 446 or email lauren.craney@hotmail.com.
Crystal & Buddy are in foster care in Elermore Vale, NSW (Lake Macquarie, south of Newcastle) and is available for adoption interstate.
Crystals & Buddy's adoption fee is $250 and they are desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped, and lifetime registered
Medical notes
Crystal doesn't have any current medical conditions. She is missing a few teeth due to age, but that doesn't stop her smiling! She does occasionally have stiff hips and joints particularly in winter but she has been having Sasha's Blend in her dinner and fish oil tablets which has improved her mobility. It would be best for her new home to have as few steps as possible to help ease her discomfort if she has any.
