About Robbie ~ Bull Arab x puppy (On Trial 9/8/17)
Robbie is a 4 month old, male, Bull Arab x puppy. Robbie is full of puppy love and affection. He is very inquisitive and likes to explore his surroundings, but he is also happy to just be by your side.
Robbie is a very healthy little puppy who has been raised in a home environment. He is currently living with 4 children and 5 other dogs of various ages and gets along well with all of them. He's met lots of people and is friendly and affectionate with them.
Robbie will grow up to be a medium size dog. He is a fast learner and already knows "sit" and we are currently working on "stay" however puppy school is recommended to give Robbie the best start. All dogs and puppies need plenty of affection, exercise, and training.
It would be a big plus if you have a friendly adult dog as a teacher, companion and playmate for Robbie. If you don't have another dog to keep him company, then there needs to be someone in the household that doesn't work full time.
Robbie needs to be welcome inside when people are home, and to sleep inside at least until fully grown. He will be wonderful family dog and is suitable for children 8 years and older. You need good fencing with no small gaps. He can't go to rural fencing (eg: mesh or wire).
For more information or to meet Robbie, please contact his foster mum Alicia by emailing alicialyn@live.com.au. Robbie is in care in the Port Stephens area, NSW (north of Newcastle).
Robbie's adoption fee is $500 and includes his desexing, vaccinations and microchipping and he's been treated for fleas and worms. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au
Medical notes
Happy and healthy boy.
Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire. Word format: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx or PDF: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.pdf
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
