About Ollie ~ Labrador x (On trial 01/07/2017)
Hi I’m Ollie. I am an 11 month old Labrador cross who my carer thinks is exceptionally handsome!
I love human company and going for walkies! I am learning very quickly to be good on lead but my carer, Claire, would like someone to get a walking harness for me as she says it is better for me.
I am a very good boy, I even know how to sit and shake on command. I am a very smart boy and would like some more training. I am still only young and very eager to learn lots of new things.
Apparently, my best feature is my golden eyes as you can see from my photos!
I currently sleep outside and have family time inside when my carer is home. I would love to be included as part of the family and to be allowed to interact when they are home. I haven’t been tested inside overnight so not sure if I would have any accidents. I would try very hard not too but happy to have some help with this.
I haven’t been around young children or many other dogs before but if you want to meet me to see how I go, I would be happy to meet you.
Please feel free to contact my foster mum, Claire if you have any questions on 0402 675 883 or email claired2509@yahoo.com.au. I live at Waratah West. If you think I could be apart of your loving family, please come and meet me…you will not be disappointed!
Love Ollie

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire. Word format: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx or PDF: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.pdf
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
