About Max ~ 2yo Lab x Corgi boy (On Trial 24/6/17)
Max is a lovable, 2 year old, male, Labrador x Corgi boy. Since coming into care Max has shown himself to be a kind, cuddly dog who loves being around people. He loves his walks around the lake and beach exploring the outside world.
Max is a very healthy dog who has been raised in a home environment. He has been very well socialised with other small dogs and gets along well with them all. He's met lots of people and is friendly and affectionate with them, especially children.
Max is responding very well to training and is learning to walk without his lead. He is a fast learner and would love for his new family to take him everywhere with them. He is house trained and sits well in travelling in a car with a dog seat belt harness.
Max came from an owner that had another dog as a playmate and companion for him. Max’s ideal family will have lots of time to spend with him. He will need to be allowed to come inside and be a part of family life. Max will need regular exercise to help use all his young dog energy and will love learning new games and playing with another dog. Max’s does suffer from separation anxiety and needs to be with another dog as he does not like being left on his own. He would suit someone home most of the time.
Max is a very affectionate dog. Max needs to be welcome inside be around people especially at home and to sleep inside. He currently sleeps inside at night and settles well at bedtime and needs to be able to spend time inside during the day also. He will be a wonderful family dog and is suitable for children.
For more information or to meet Max, please contact Sharron at sstudley3@bigpond.com or on 0423 331 057. Molly is located in San Remo, NSW (Central Coast) and is available for adoption interstate.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire. Word format: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx or PDF: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.pdf
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
