He is an extremely friendly, soft-natured dog who loves to be with his people. He is good with both humans and other dogs and already knows how to sit, go to his bed and come to his name. Chips has lovely house manners. He is respectful of food and household items, doesn’t climb on furniture and only plays with his own toys. He is a good watch dog and will bark at someone at the door but will be his wiggly-happy self as soon as they are let in. Chips is quite an active young dog and is very playful. He loves a game of tug, a wrestle and a good walk. I’m sure with a bit of training he would also love fetch. He will need to go to a home who are reasonably active and would excel at obedience, tricks or dog sports as he is very smart and loves to please. Chips loves to be with his people and unfortunately suffers from mild separation anxiety when left without a human or dog friend, however he is not destructive and settles down with time. He would not suit being an outside only dog and must go to a home where he is allowed to be inside with his family. As a young and playful dog he will not suit a home with young children as he may knock them over by accident (though he is child-friendly). Adoption details
Adoption Process
We send out our application to the new potential family and when our forms are returned we start a process called screening. When we have finished our screening and all information that comes back is approved. We do a meet and greet, sometimes more than two. If all parties are happy, we then allow our foster furkid go into your home. After 3 weeks sometimes more, we do a revisit and see how everyone is going, then we change over microchip registration if everything is great.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
