Socks

Friendly, eager to please, a sweet soul, with loads of personality, Socks wants to be friends with

everyone he meets.

Socks needs to spend most of his day with people.

A clever boy Socks would benefit greatly from a home with people who have the time to give him plenty of mental and physical stimulation.

With no medical issues and his short coat of traditional Boxer colours, Socks is easy to care for.

Though Socks has no aggression issues with children he is young yet solid and his bouncy enthusiasm make him unsuitable for a family with young children. However an active family with teenagers would make him very happy.

Being a bundle of playful energy Socks needs to be walked and played with every day. He settles well after a morning and late afternoon session. Socks loves tug of war, chasing ball, running, and jumping. If taught Socks could easily keep up with an owner who cycles or a jogger.

He also likes traveling in the car and going on outings. Having had some basic training Socks can Sit, Stay,comes when called, and goes ‘on your bed’. During meal times Socks sits quietly for his dinner, and knows to wait quietly on his bed whilst human’s meals are being prepared and eaten.

He would still benefit from attending obedience training, enabling him to continue growing into a well-balanced, socialised dog, that will make you proud.

Socks can not be left outside when you go out, as he will jump ANY fence and go looking for
company. However he can be left inside with his bed and toys. Having a short coat and needing to be near his people, Socks needs a warm area inside for sleeping. Socks currently sleeps in a separate room from his carers without distress.

Socks is a happy healthy boy. A lovely dog who will enrich your life!
