About Rosee ~ Bull Arab x puppy (on trial 24/8/2017))
Rosee is a 17 week old, female, Bull Arab x puppy. When she is being held she is very, very sweet and loves giving kisses. When she’s on the floor, she can get quite excited and jumpy and shows her wild side.
Rosee is a very healthy little puppy who has been raised in a home environment. She has been very well socialised with other puppies and adult dogs (small and large) and gets along well with them all. She's met lots of people and is friendly and affectionate with them.
Rosee will grow up to be a large size dog. We always recommend puppy-training classes to give your new family member the best start in life. All dogs and puppies need plenty of affection, exercise, and training. Rosee is slowing starting to learn basic manners and does respond really well to a firm NO or UHH. While she can be crazy over food, we are teaching her to sit and wait. Toilet training is under way as well.
It would be a great if you have a friendly, tolerant adult dog as a teacher, companion and playmate for Rosee. If you don't have another dog to keep her company, then there needs to be someone in the household that doesn't work full time.
Rosee needs to be welcome inside when people are home, and to sleep inside at least until fully grown. Rosee and her brother Ralph currently sleep indoors in a crate together and are clean overnight. She will be wonderful family dog and is suitable for children 8 years and older. You need good fencing with no small gaps. She can't go to rural fencing (eg: mesh or wire).
Rosee's brother Ralph is also available for adoption.
As Rosee is not yet desexed, she is only available for adoption to Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Central Coast and Port Stephens because she'll need to be returned to our vet for desexing when she's approximately 5 months old. We have been advised upon vaccination that Rosee has an umbilical hernia. This in no way will affect her quality of life and will be fixed upon desexing if not resolved by then.
For more information or to meet Rosee, please contact her foster mum Karmen on 0401 283 793 or email karmenhedley@hotmail.com. Rosee is in care in the Newcastle area, NSW
Rosee's adoption fee is $500 and includes her desexing, vaccinations and microchipping and she's been treated for fleas and worms. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire. Word format: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx or PDF: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.pdf
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
