About Scorpio
Check out this handsome boy!
Scorpio is one good looking doggo who is not all that big as he just scrapes into the large category. He is an absolute lover who will do anything for the tummy rubs. Scorpio will be a great companion dog for a family as he has a loving and loyal nature. He enjoys hanging out with his people and even more so if the attention and pats are on offer. Scorpio also has those puppy dog eyes down pat as they are hard to resist! He would love to spend his evenings lying on the couch with you and having snuggles.
During his time in care, Scorpio has been socialised with a range of dogs. He came from a home where he lived with a small dog and he was not socialised outside of this. Scorpio would ideally like a home where he is the centre of attention and doesn’t have to worry about another dog, but he is able to live harmoniously with another balanced dog. Scorpio is a moderately active dog and will require a daily walk. He has good lead manners when wearing a training collar but he can pull a bit if he catches sight of rabbits or foxes. Scorpio enjoys getting out to stretch his legs but does not require huge amounts of intense exercise.
Scorpio will be on his absolute best behaviour if you have the yummy treats around! He is very treat driven and will do anything for them. Scorpio can sit on command and will drop for a treat. He can sometimes be a bit jumpy but this will progress with some further training. A home without very small children is probably best at this stage so that he doesn’t accidentally knock them over. Scorpio is a very smart boy and is a quick learner so will catch onto anything you want to teach him. He learnt crate training in his foster home very quickly and is house trained.
We are looking for a home where Scorpio will be a part of the family and he can be an only dog or live with a quieter and balanced doggie companion. Scorpio should be allowed inside to be with the family and will more than happy curl up in his crate to sleep at night. A home without small children and cats/pocket pets is needed. He's also not suited to live with or near livestock. Ultimately, this dog just wants someone to love and someone who will love him back like he deserves. Oh and don’t forget someone who will supply the treats and tummy rubs!

Don't see a breed attached to one of our dogs? That's because we don't breed label dogs of unknown genetic history. We can't guess at breeds but that's okay, because we can tell you about the dog's individual personality, character, and behaviour.
