About C Axel
Axel is not so great with other dogs but is learning. He has spent a month at the Berkshire Park dog Obedience School and has passed his advanced course so he is well trained but needs an experienced dog handler as his puppy head can make him a bit silly, but in the right hands he will be a great dog :-)
Hello, my name is Axel. I have just turned 1, i am a ridgeback cross and I am looking for a new family to give me lots of love and affection as i have had a difficult start to my life. I also need someone who can teach me how to play nicely with other dogs as they scare me and excite me and i dont know how to behave when i see them. My favourite pass times are playing tuggies, chewing my toys, eagerly watching for the bush turkey that likes to walk across our back fence in the hope it will fall into my yard and in the last 6 weeks i have become really good at learning how to sit, stay, come, heel, drop, wait and ride in a car in the hope that I will get treats. I love to be with my foster family and like a good cuddle but I am also happy to sit and watch the world go by when they are not home. I am not keen on the cat next door. I like to sleep inside near my foster family, preferably on the couch, but only when they are not looking. I have stayed with quite a few families in my short life so I am keen to find my forever family. If you you think that might be you, please ask my current family if you can come meet me. Axel
