About Billee ~ Border Collie x Mastiff (On Trial 25/6/17
Beautiful Billee is a 12 week old, female, Border Collie x Mastiff puppy. She is our smiling assassin! She has the sweetest face, gives big smiles and has a big playful personality to go with it. Billee is the life of the party and quite cheeky!
We anticipate she will be on the larger side of medium once fully grown. She would love to grow with a family, however being all teeth and nails as a pup it would probably be best if her family had kids from 8 and up as she can be quite boisterous when playing. Puppy school is always recommended to give your pup the best start, teach them manners and to grow a bond with any dog’s new owners.
Billee will need a good size yard to run and play with secure fencing and gates. Another dog to play with would be an added bonus! She will need someone to be home for at least parts of the day as she currently needs 4 feeds a day along with the companionship to feel secure in new surroundings. She will need to sleep inside at least until the warmer weather arrives.
Billee’s sister Jazz is also available for adoption.
As Billee is not yet desexed, she is only available for adoption to Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Central Coast and Port Stephens because she'll need to be returned to our vet for desexing when she's approximately 5 months old.
Billee is currently in care in Salamander Bay north of Newcastle. To apply to adopt her or for more information, please contact her foster mum Lauren at hitthesand@hotmail.com.
Billee's adoption fee is $500 and includes her desexing, vaccinations and microchipping and she's been treated for fleas and worms. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au
Medical notes
Happy and healthy puppy.
As Billee is not yet desexed, she is only available for adoption to Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Central Coast and Port Stephens because she'll need to be returned to our vet for desexing when she's approximately 5 months old.
Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire. Word format: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx or PDF: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.pdf
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
