About Reo
Just by looking at this boy you can see he has character, but what you find out in person is that he is a sweet and loving puppy that will make a family very happy.
Reo has such a handsome and shiny dark coat and that ear is a highlight! He is a playful and happy puppy who enjoys human companionship. Reo is a snuggler who will happily fall asleep curled up with you on the lounge. He loves pats and getting attention, and he enjoys playing games with his people and toys as well.
During his time in care Reo has been well socialised with a range of dogs. He is friendly with all of the dogs that he meets and just occasionally needs a reminder to remember his manners. Reo has loved being in care with other playful dogs and enjoys chasing and zoomies at the dog park. He will be a moderately active dog who will require daily exercise to keep him healthy and happy. Reo is currently enjoying daily trips to the off lead dog park and he is demonstrating good recall and is never running off far from his carer.
Reo has been undergoing basic training while in foster care and he knows how to walk on a lead without pulling too much and sit on command. He will start to learn how to drop (lie down) next. Reo is easy enough to train too as he is willing to please and also food motivated. It is important that his new family are committed to continuing his training as he is still a pup who is going to end up a large dog who should have good manners in all aspects of his life. Reo is crate trained and sleeps throughout the night. He came to us not toilet trained so this is progressing in foster care though will probably need to be fine tuned in his new home. Reo was also never taken in the car so at the moment he is experiencing some car sickness which he may or may not grow out of with age.
We are looking for a home where Reo will be a part of the family and included in the daily activities. He absolutely must have a home where there is another dog for company and/or someone home more often than not as he is not used to being alone. Reo should be allowed inside to be with the family and will need a bed inside to sleep on at night out of the weather. At this point in time he has not been exposed to cats and pocket pets. He seems good with children but is still fine tuning his manners so best that any kids are older or quite dog savvy.

Don't see a breed attached to one of our dogs? That's because we don't breed label dogs of unknown genetic history. We can't guess at breeds but that's okay, because we can tell you about the dog's individual personality, character, and behaviour.
