About Floss
Floss has a heartbreaking story. She was dumped on the streets in a carrier- you read right. She was put into a carrier, taken somewhere and left there. Thankfully left outside an animal lover home who contacted us for help.
As soon as we met Floss there was something special about her. Her aura tells a story and she is so forgiving. When we opened the carrier she came right out and smooched our hands. The rancid smell of smoke filled the room and she had a body covered in mats.
It was like she sighed relief when we met- it was special.
Over the next week, we clipped the matts, cleaned her fur, she visited the vet for a health check and vaccination.
She has such a gentle nature. She is confident and friendly and just wants to love you. She's inquisitive and talkative and loves to sit in the windows sunshine.
Floss seems unsure with other cats and will hiss at them. She has meet 2 dogs and although didn't want to be their best friend, just avoided them. We think she would adjust to a home with a cat friendly dog who didn't get up in her face. We think Floss would be fine with gentle kids.
Floss is just the sweetest girl ever and I assure you she will be an amazing addition to your home!
She will need regular grooming to keep her coat knot free.
Medical notes
Floss currently has quite a few shaved patches from where her mats were clipped.
Floss will only eat round shaped kibble. This just seems to be her personal preference. She will go on a hunger strike with any other shaped dry food. She currently eats Hills Adult original food or Eukanuba Adult Hairball dry. She has little interest in wet food.
