About Iggy
Iggy is a gentle, sweet natured soul. She is just under one year old and a really nice medium size with a fit athletic build. She is just a lovely dog to have around - very quiet and well behaved in the house, gets on with all the other dogs, and is great with people too. She has had a lot to do with kids under 10 and was really good with them. She plays really sweetly with the puppies too and is a great role model to them.
Iggy is fully house trained, walks nicely on the lead, and comes when she is called. She is very obliging and quick to learn. We think that she would do really well in dog obedience and with her natural athleticism would be great at agility classes too.
This friendly little girl would make a great mate for another playful dog, and would just be a great all-round family dog.
Iggy is currently in foster care in Elliott NT.
Our rescue and rehabilitation work happens in Central Australia, but because of the scarcity of adopters locally, our re-homing operation is in South Australia. Iggy's adoption fee includes crate hire, courier transport by road from Tennant Creek to Alice Springs, and a direct flight from Alice Springs to Adelaide.
Medical notes
Iggy will be wormed and heart-worm treated again just before leaving the Territory. She should be de-wormed a month after leaving the Territory and have at least 1 further heart-worm treatment after she arrives down south, before reverting to a normal worming regime.
Adoption details
We request that prospective adopters email us with an initial enquiry. We will forward an application form. On receipt of the application form, we will make phone contact to discuss the adoption. We try hard to match the dog to the person, ultimately looking for the best fit for the dog. Shipping fees may or may not be included in the adoption fee, and this will be stated in the pet's profile.
