About Lillee Delmar (Adoption in progress)
This gorgeous kelpie is a happy bundle of boundless energy, a typical teenage girl who is interested in everything. At around 12 months old, Lillee loves playing with her doggy friends, running at the park, tearing around the yard ... Did we mention her boundless energy?
Lillee settled quickly into her foster home and gets on very well with a large male and small female dog. She sleeps and relaxes happily in her crate, but prefers to cuddle on the couch with her human or canine family. Lillee has almost mastered house-training and is learning to walk on the lead. Her young age means she needs stimulation, chew toys and lots of reinforcement of house rules and good habits.
She is affectionate and playful and just wants to spread the love. Her working dog DNA means she loves to run, and will need a fair amount of exercise to keep her happy and healthy. We think Lillee would perhaps be happiest on a large property where she can run to her hearts's content, or with humans who are prepared to give her a lot of regular (daily) exercise. She would love another dog for company, or at least one human who is home during the day.
If you have the energy for this high energy girl, you will be rewarded with this loving, loyal companion.
Please note: our dogs are not available for interstate adoption. We also do not adopt to people under the age of 25 years.

Adoption details
We are a community fostercare network, not a shelter, and our dogs and cats are cared for in private homes. Note that we are very careful where we rehome our dogs and cats and we have an intensive process. If you want a quick turnaround we are not the group for you. If you seem like a good match for the dog of your choice we will organise a telephone chat, a meet and greet and a property check. We offer a six-week full refund, free assistance for six weeks for any issues, and a lifetime takeback policy with a fifty percent refund of the adoption fee, and of course an invitation to our adopters’ Christmas party.
We care for our dogs and cats and we want you to as well. We know that genuine applicants have no trouble with this process and understand that if we refuse you a dog or cat, it is because you are not the best match for that pet.
Our commitment to the dogs and cats in our care is total and we treat each one as if we are passing on a family pet. This may not suit you so we point out that there are equally great dogs and cats available in pounds, shelters and with other rescue groups.

Unfortunately we usually will not have time to reply to enquiries in more detail and will give priority to completed applications over enquiries. Priority will also be given to typed applications which are easier for us to read and to copy relevant parts.
