About Abi
CAN YOU HELP KEEP THIS FAMILY TOGETHER?
Twelve-year-old Abi and 8.5 year old Duke are incredibly close, and do not like to be apart from one another; they are Mother and Son. The sad victims of a relationship breakdown, Abi and Duke are in desperate need of a very special home.
A pair of lovebugs, they will greet you with the most beautiful senior smiles, and shower you with kisses and cuddles. Both are good with kids and have lived with a cat. They are not great with other dogs as Abi can get quite protective of Duke. They have rarely been socialised with other dogs, so they must go to a home with no other dogs – and they must go TOGETHER!
As you can see by the photos, they are both a little … ahem … overweight! Abi and Duke need a forever family who will work to reduced their weight and slowly reintroduce exercise.
Abi and Duke’s GSD hearts would break if they were separated. Do you have it in your heart to take both of these gorgeous dogs into your home, get them back into shape, and love them them forever, as they will you? If so, please fill in an Adoption Application online via our website. If you have already filled in an application, then please email rescue@gsrv.com.au.

If you are interested in adopting from us, we ask that you fill out the Adoption Application form on our website (via the link provided below) with as much detail as possible, including the name of the dog you are interested in.
