About Wobby
Meet big boy Wobby – He's about 17 months old and a solid Bull Arab X, weighing about 40 odd Kilos and is a big gentle giant.
For such a big tough looking boy he's really such a big scaredy cat, for example when he first meets people he tends to avoid them and loud or new noises make him jump - But with his inquisitive nature he warms to people quickly and his confidence is building every day.
He bonds very quickly to the people he lives with as he has done in foster care and is happiest following them around the house and yard or lazing in his bed nearby on the floor. He is not a barker and is happy to either stay outside in the dog run or in a crate indoors overnight or until you are home.
He has made good friends with a pair of cats while in foster care and is trustworthy enough to be left unattended with them in the house for short periods, but he is new to learning about cats being friends but having "dog friendly cats" to show him the ropes definitely helps as they are confident personalities, initiate play and don't try to run.
If Wobby was to move to a home with cats his new owners would need to set some clear boundaries and be prepared to help him understand the same rules apply with the new cat as did with his foster cats.
Overall Wobby is a quiet lower energy nervous boy who loves to just hang around. He does have playful spurts of energy and is best suited to being around bigger dogs as he can be a little dominating with the smaller ones and sometime forgets his size but that said if you re prepared to put in some training he is definitely a super fast learner and is already learning to play nicely with dogs.
He has had some issues with on lead "tough guy stuff" in the past but this is improving and is rarely seen by his foster carer anymore.
