About Usher
Location - Hervey Bay Qld
Hi, My name is Usher!
I'm a bit of a cool guy and a total larrikin. To be honest, I am also a bit of a sook and love my pats and cuddles too. I am a very affectionate boy and like to a have a big chat to my humans when they get home to tell them all about my day while they were out. Currently my foster parents let me come inside and outside as I please which I think is fantastic as I like to keep my foster family company while they are home. I will even make sure they don't get lonely when they are showering and even going to the loo if they let me! I love to go out in the car so I always behave well and just sit and watch the world go by out through the window. Sometimes, my foster family takes me to the beach and I absolutely love it! There are so many new smells and people and dogs to see! I am great on the lead but pull a little when I see other dogs because I want to go play too.. But we are working on that. I also love to chase the ball and I am learning to sit, shake, lay down and stay. As I sleep inside at night where I am, I am toilet trained and if I do really need to go to the loo during the night, I will wake you up so I don't have an accident. I'm not food aggressive and I am happy to let my humans pat me and take my food away if they must. I haven't been around young kids or cats but the kids aged 10 years and up who I have met, I have been very well behaved with. If you would like an affectionate character to add to your family, I am it! So have your people call my people and we can arrange a meet and greet!

Adoption details
Fraser Coast Animal Rescue house all our dogs in care with foster carers in family homes. This allows the dogs to experience life in family situations with other dogs, cats, children, chooks and various other domestic animals. This gives us an opportunity to discover their traits and personalities, likes and dislikes, and which dogs would suit which family dinamics.
We offer a 14 day trial period for all potential adoptees so they can see if the dog they have chosen is a fit with their family situation. Their is a $50 refundable deposit paid on the commencement of the trial period, which comes off the balance of the adoption fee should you wish to formally adopt your chosen dog. If you decide that the dog doesn't fit with your family, the dog will be retured into foster care, and the full balance of the deposit is refunded to you with no fees or charges.
If you wish to arrange a meet and greet with one of our dogs in care, please call Caitlyn on 0455 551 036 or email caitlyn.hulse@hotmail.com
The committee and carers of Fraser Coast Animal Rescue are all volunteers, so please be patient with us if we dont answer your enquiries straight away.
