Frida and Kahlo

These amazing twin sisters are the embodiment of the perfect kitten. They are extremely friendly with deafening purrs that never seem to stop; confident, playful, affectionate, cuddly and full of life.
Frida (with a slightly longer face and more ginger around her eyes) is a bit more adventurous and independent while her sister Kahlo (with more white on the face and a rounder head) is a little more cuddly and inclined to spend more time with her human friends. Although to be honest, there is not much in it - they are so similar in so many ways and are an utter joy to have around.

Frida and Kahlo came into care at around 10 to 12 days old, when their tiny eyes were just beginning to open. They had been born under a shrub to a stray mama cat and had 3 siblings. We were trying to capture their mum so that the whole family could be safely brought into care but one day she moved the other 3 kittens and didn't return. Despite waiting all day in hope that she would come back for her final 2 daughters, sadly she did not so bottle-raising them was the only option.

Being hand raised from an early age explains why these girls are so human social. They are used to a LOT of handling as well as being transported all over the Avon Valley and Perth with their foster parents.
They have grown up around a house full of other cats, 3 dogs and also an orphaned lamb who was being bottle raised on the same schedule! They do get a bit overwhelmed by the dogs still, but would easily adapt to a home with existing canines. Although Frida and Kahlo haven't experienced many children their confident natures mean that they would be fine for kids (though they are still too young to be fully versed in the trick of retracting their claws, so children will need to be supervised and encouraged to be gentle and patient).

Frida and Kahlo are an inseparable pair who play together, sleep together, groom each other and sometimes get in fights over food (like any good siblings). They are a ready-made family and will overwhelm your heart and home with happiness.
They will need to be indoor-only cats for life, as their pale colouring makes the susceptible to sun damage and skin cancer - but why would you want them outside anyway, as you would miss out on all their loving??
