About Patch ~ 10mo Staffy x (adopted by carer)
Hi! My name is Patch or you can call me Patchy. I'm a male staffy x puppy, around 10 months old. I'm very affectionate and I give great cuddles.
I sleep inside of a night, the closer to my humans the better. I do have my own bed and blanket that I'm learning to sleep on, but I'll jump in with you if I can get away with it. I'm very agile and can jump quite high so 6ft fences are a must. I’m still a puppy and I like to chew on things so I'll need lots of toys to keep me busy.
I do jump up in excitement sometimes so will benefit from further training but I'm a very quick learner and like to please my humans. Sometimes I get a bit frightened going out walking, but I have been learning with my doggie sister that's it's not that bad out there and I'm sure as my confidence builds I'll love my walks and look forward to them.
I would love another dog of similar size to play with or older children. I can be a little boisterous sometimes as I'm still just learning so I'd be best with confident kids or children over the age of 10 years.
I’m a big, cuddly sook with lots of love to give and I can’t wait to meet you!
For more information or to meet Patch, please contact Donna on 0466 099 426 or email trudgetty@hotmail.com. Patch is located at East Maitland, NSW (near Newcastle) and is available for adoption interstate.
Patch's adoption fee is $450 and he is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped, and lifetime registered. You can see all of our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire. Word format: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx or PDF: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.pdf
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
