About Layla
Layla is a happy girl who shows great enthusiasm for the big wide world and is very keen to please her owners – especially when they have treats!
She enjoys playing with toys and would love a home which would take her for a walk each day. While she pulls on the lead at the moment, she responded to our directions and being food motivated she is ready to learn to walk nicely if it means making her owners happy and being rewarded with treats! She already has basic training down pat and is very good at sit and drop.
She is almost five years old so is past the hyperactive puppy stage and has grown into a friendly dog who enjoys the company of people and dogs - Layla met our dog in a friendly and calm way.
Layla’s family has unfortunately moved away and are unable to take her with them. If you’re a loving home looking for a new family member then give us a call!
Medical notes
Layla has no obvious health issues and is already desexed.
Adoption details
The adoption process at the Companion Animal Facility is relatively easy. We ask that if you are interested in a animal, please attend our facility in Goulburn to meet the animal and the Ranger team so that we can make sure that the animal is the right match for you. We do not take expressions of interest over the phone or via email.
Once you have decided on which future pet you would like to adopt from the facility, all that is required by you is to make a payment at the Companion Animal Facility by either cash, cheque or eftpos, provide details for the microchip and registration paperwork and then pick up your future pet from the Council veterinary service provider once they have been de-sexed and vaccinated (Council staff will advise you when the animal is booked in at the veterinary clinic. This usually falls within 14 days of the purchase).
The following are the re-homing fees for dogs and cats,
Entire Dog - $260.00
De-sexed Dog (de-sexed by previous owner) - $160.00
Entire Cat - $180.00
De-sexed Cat (de-sexed by previous owner) - $110.00
The following is included with all sales,
Microchipping (identification details will be placed on the NSW Companion Animal Register)
Lifetime Registration (within NSW)
Vaccination
Worm Treatment
Vet Check
De-sexing (if required)
Please Note: All dogs and cats rescued from the Companion Animal Facility are required to be de-sexed. Dogs and cats will not be sold as entire under any circumstances.

Please Note: The Goulburn Mulwaree Council Companion Animal Facility is closed on Sundays and all public holidays.
