About Ziggy
Ziggy is a good boy! And boy does he love to hear it. Ziggy is very responsive to communication from his people, loves to give eye contact and listens intently to what you have to say. So far, he has come to his name every single time!
Ziggy also loves human touch, and adores a good snuggle session on the couch. Make no mistake, although very human social, this little fella is dying for his own person to please and his own family to love.
He can be a little timid around fast and close movements towards him and reacts with submission rather than fight or flight.
We're still getting to know this little guy, but so far, we have ascertained the he learns very fast, and although can be tentative meeting larger dogs for the first time, he loves doggy companionship and is just a playful little puppy at heart.
Despite his playful predelictions, Ziggy is very mindful of the cues given by other dogs and respects their space when required.
Ziggy, unfortunately came in for euthanasia due to killing chickens on the farm in which he lived. Prey drive towards small animals is a very normal trait for all breeds of dog, but especially terriers and it is therefore recommended for Ziggy to go to a home without small animals and livestock.
Ziggy is getting the hang of toilet training very fast but will need ongoing direction in this area.
Ziggy's ears are sometimes up, sometimes down and sometimes both! He has adorable deep brown eyes that search your face for meaning. At the age of seven, he still has a lot of energy and a lot of life to live.
If you are considering this little bundle of people-pleasing cuteness, please EMAIL me a little bit about yourself.
