Awww, Maxi! What a beautiful guy this pup is. Rescued from Hawthorn canal in a sinking cardboard box, he's now in foster care with Maggie's enjoying all the love and cuddles he deserves while he waits for his wonderful forever home.
This sweet boy is affectionate, friendly and loves the company of his humans. He is very smart, and food motivated (which helps a lot!) - he learned to sit in one day, already knows his name and comes when called.
Maxi is shaping up to be a well-behaved social puppy. He gets along easily with other dogs and would be a perfect fit for a two-dog home. With boundless natural energy, he will need off leash exercise every day, even after he grows out of his manic puppy stage.
A really gorgeous fellow with a wonderful nature, Maxi will make a great companion to his lucky new person, couple or family.

We will then organise a time for you to meet with the foster carer and the pet you are interested in adopting.
Maggie's wants this to be a good experience for you, and we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog as your situation may not meet the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two week trial. At the end of this period we will transfer the microchip to your details and the adoption is complete.
