About Odie
Odie is a big ball of goof. He smiles at you when he's excited and happy. He leans on you for a cuddle and he nuzzles up to you when he wants a pat.
He's going to be a big boy. At 9 months old he is already between 30-40 kilos so a home that wants a large sized breed is definitely ideal. He is great with other dogs and has previously lived with both elderly and small breed dogs with ease.
He is currently in foster care with a range of other dogs and hasn't shown any issues with them. He loves to rumble and play. Tumble and spin.
He loves to play tug a war with his foster siblings and run around with some of the others.
He would definitely suit a home with another dog, one that wants to snuggle and play. He may suit a home as an only dog if someone is able to interact with him a lot and keep him socialised with other dogs.
Odie is both toilet trained and crate trained. Travels well in the car. Is good on and off leash and has shown to have great basic obedience and manners with both toys and food.
Odie would suit a home with fencing over 4ft and may suit a household with rural fencing as well.
He seems to be great with the host cats in his foster home and would definitely be friendly and loving to young kids as well we believe. He loves being inside so a home that lets him be inside and outside and a part of the family is definitely essential.
A walk a day or an adventure a day would suit this fella but he's not overly high energy so a play in the yard on any off days would suit him as well.
Odie is located in the hunter region near Gresford NSW and his adoption fee is $400.

Adoption details
In the ENQUIRY SECTION please explain in LENGTH some basics about yourself/ your life/ your household and what type of life you can provide for one of our rescue animals.
If successful, you would be contacted by phone, where we will talk about your enquiry and potentially organise a meet and greet between you/ your dogs/ your family and the potential candidate
From there, you can either take your animal with you if the meet and greet was successful and their vet work has been completed- or if the vet work hasn't been completed, you must wait until it's finished before taking your new friend home which will be organised between yourself and the foster carer.
Every animal has a 2 week trial period.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
