About Snow
Look at this gorgeous face. Introducing sweet, pretty Snow, a gorgeous Kelpie x Lab mix.
Snow has had a terrible start to life and has been rescued from an abusive situation. Because of her traumatic start she can be very fearful around humans and often cowers if voices are raised or if someone tries to pat her on her head.
Despite her traumatic past Snow is an extremely gentle natured dog and incredibly bright. And she love love loves children. She is currently fostered with two very young children and has always shown care and love towards them and is incredibly gentle. She loves to sleep at the end of your bed and happily goes along with playing "shops" with her foster mum's 3 year old daughter.
Snow can feel overwhelmed by boisterous larger dogs but is fine with calm dogs and especially feels comfortable with small dogs. She would be best suited to a home with calm older dogs or would be fine in an only dog home as long as her humans were around a lot of the time to keep her company. She is also fine with cats. Snow shows fear when being fed her dinner and prefers to be left alone to eat or have her foster mum sitting next to her and encouraging her. We are sure with time she will realise she has no reason to be fearful of kind humans.
Snow is toilet trained and knows commands such as lay, sit and stay. She is incredibly smart and we think she would love to be taught tricks and other commands. Snow will need a family who is understanding of her soft nature and of her past. She will need humans who will continue to help her heal and have time and patience to earn her trust. Snow will need to be with a family that allows her to live inside and out and be part of the family unit.

Wally's Doggie Rescue put a lot of time and effort into ensuring our dogs/pups are sociable and made to feel part of the family, so in considering adoptions, these are the type of things we will be looking for in a new family.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
