About Tinker
I'm trying a new home to see if i like it. Tinker is an adorable, loving, affectionate little dynamo of a dog. Tinker was surrendered because her owners did not have the time to devote to her as they work full time and she was on her own for much of the week. Her foster carer is a dog trainer and has embarked on a reward based training regime that has seen tinker change from a boisterous dog into a much calmer one. Tinker has all of the jack russell energy and is very intelligent. She has now learnt to sit and stay and is coming back when called which is something that she had no idea about one week ago. Tinker would be a great agility dog as she learns very quickly and does love those rewards that are given when she does things the right way. She is being taken on lots of long walks to release her energy and can now be found snoring on her foster carer's lap after dinner with a huge smile on her face. Tinker is a happy dog now because she is kept busy doing all sorts of things that she has never done or seen before. She is in foster care on lake macquarie in nsw and loves to run up and down in the shallow water with the other dogs in her foster family. Tinkers new family must be prepared to continue on with her training and take her on regular walks. A family with young noisy children will not suit her because it will just rev her up so a calmer environment with older children will be much more suitable. Tinker must have the company of another dog in her new home and cannot go as an 'only dog' or she will try to leave home. She is house trained, gets on with her foster doggy brothers and sisters extremely well and just loves humans. Her foster carer has cats and tinker is good with them until the cat starts to run and then the chase will begin! she is also very fast when the door or gate is open and will zip past you! tinker is a house dog and will only be rehomed as one
tinker comes desexed, microchipped, vaccinated, wormed and with nsw local council lifetime registration for $350.
