Bear

Bear is sweet natured, submissive and playful and would do great in a home with another playful and friendly dog. He is very submissive so overly dominant dogs and large packs aren't really his style of fun.
He is in foster care with a bunch of others and is friendly with both small and large dogs ranging in personalities and ages. He is best suited to dogs that are medium to large though as he is very playful and tends to forget his size. So small breed dogs are quite overwhelmed with him.
He has met the resident cat in foster care and has shown to be fine with him so a home with cats may suit. But he isn't suitable to a house with poultry.

There aren't any kids in his foster home but with his gentle nature, we think he would be friendly and kind to kids who were dog savvy and loving. He doesn't jump up either so this may definitely suit him.

He has shown to have decent basic obedience and is good with his toilet training. Typical to his breed, a little pully on leash and definitely likes to follow his nature strong sense of smell with the direction of his adorable nose.

Breed experience is preferred but not essential but nice secure fencing is a must for this boy. We would suggest at least 5ft to keep him safe and sound.
He would do best in a home where he is both indoors and out and included in the family.

Bear is a big water baby so a home that lets him swim and delve into the water is a must. Knowledge of the breed is required so people understand the typical stubborn and cheeky nature of the blood hound breed.

Bear is located on the central coast and his adoption fee is $500.
