About Mimi
***Special needs Mimi needs a home!***
*We're searching for a dedicated person willing to give an old girl a second chance at life!*
She's 10 years young and was left behind when her elderly owner went into care. She was extremely emaciated when we got her and had Pyometra, requiring immediate surgery.
She also has diabetes.
We've had her in care for around 2 months and she's been gaining weight and really coming out of her shell.
We are willing to provide ongoing vet support for anyone who adopts her at the Elizabeth park vet clinic.
At the moment she's going for weekly glucose tests and requires 2 insulin injections a day
The tests are only $16 under our account and we will start you off with the initial insulin etc. ongoing costs with our vet are around $100 every 2 months for insulin (or they are happy to provide a prescription to get cheaper at chemist warehouse)
$16 a week until her glucose levels are stable then every couple of months.
Her Foster Mum has had no prior experience with special needs kitties and is managing it really well so you don't need to be a vet to apply! Just a dedicated owner wanting to give an old, special needs cat a chance at a normal life ❤
A description of her personality from her foster mum
"Mimi is very purry and talkative. Will come to you when she needs something or wants attention but is also happy relaxing on the couch for most of the day, you wouldn't know the tough life she's had! She loves to follow you around when you get up in the morning or get home in the day to see what you're up to and patiently waits for pats"
She's been desexed, vaccinated and microchipped
Adoption fee $50

We offer a lifetime return policy if for some reason you can no longer care for any of our precious animals
***please note- all our cats and kittens are strictly indoor only homes unless otherwise specified in their add***
