About Buttercup Fluffbutt (1091)
BUTTERCUP FLUFFBUTT. Don’t ask me where the name came from. It started out a very respectable Buttercup, but it morphed into her full title. She’s a female ginger which is pretty special, so Buttercup was fitting. And she’s got a fluffy butt. So. That was her name. Don’t fight it. It just is. Like her brother Hank, she knows her name and generally comes when called. Unless she’s asleep in the bedroom on a furry blanket. Then this girl budges for no one and nothing. Unless its dinner. Or breakfast. Or lunch. Or maybe snack. Definitely a snack. Her latest trick is climbing up high, getting stuck, and crying out plaintively for rescue.
Buttercup Fluffbutt and her brother Hank are affectionate. Like her brother she also sleeps with me, and quite often on my ribcage. Or curled upright next to me. She’s picked that ribcage habit up from one of my cats. Sorry. We’ll just blame Charlotte for that one. Buttercup follows me around most places. Including the toilet (she likes drawstrings on pants). She’s quite talkative and meows at me. We’re still working on her conversational skills. I find its just easier to agree with her. She can be often found underfoot and she did get slightly squished when I closed the screen door on her once. That’s a lesson we both only had to learn once! (She was ok, just a bruise and some painkillers). She’s just the type of girl kitty who likes to be with her people. I won’t mention the fact that she waits patiently outside the shower. You might think that’s a tad creepy.
She's playful and highly entertaining with her brother Hank. She’s got a gorgeous face, and I find her facial expressions ridiculously charming. Like her brother Hank, she loves a good furry blanket and likes to knead and nurse on it. In fact they'll be side by side while they're kneading away, purring in harmony. They’ve been socialised in a home with adult cats, a small herd of other rescue kittens, and two cat friendly dogs.
Foster Momma: These two are the best accidental fosters a foster mother could ask for. I was meant to be transporting these two 2 week old kittens. Things went a tad pear shaped so I ended up fostering (bottle feeding, toileting etc) this pair of littles and I have fallen madly in love with them. I know I've said it before. But look at those faces! I’d love for these two to continue their lives together in the same home. Like her brother - with her white fur on her nose and her light pink skin, she'd best be suited to an indoor home to protect her from the sun. Sun = sun burn = skin cancer = bad outcomes for cats. Anyway, she's gorgeous. I love her fluffbutt and you'll fall in love too.
If you adopt both, I'm sure we can do you a deal on the adoption fee ;)
