About Bindi DL1388
Hi, I'm Bindi, lovingly nicknamed 'The Prickle', and I am a one-of-a-kind dog who can't wait to find her forever home. I'm smart, entertaining, and incredibly lovable. Please keep reading to learn more about me!
Eyes: My eyes are like pools of chocolate. Also, good luck not falling for my puppy dog eyes, as I will do anything for a treat... My favourite is green beans!
Coat: I love my tiger striped coat and I know it's beautiful because I'm often caught checking it out in the mirror. It gets a bit itchy with allergies at times, but my foster mama can tell you how we take care of that.
Ears: A little crumpled, my unique ears add to my charm. They ended up this way because they were neglected in my previous life, but are feeling so much better after getting the care I needed and deserved!
Size: At 36kg, I'd say I'm a medium to large dog, I'm not overly tall but I've a solid build.
Temperament & Training: I am a real lover. I love lots of things. I adore people, especially men… and have a soft spot for tradies – it’s true – tradies get the ladies! I love giving kisses and I thoroughly enjoy playing with my stuffed toys, throwing them all around. Don't worry though, I love them too much to tear them apart and make it snow.
I’m not just a pretty face! I am a clever cookie and I can ‘sit,’ ‘stay,’ ‘come,’ ‘lay down,’ ‘back up’ and when you ask me to, I can give you my paw. Though I also love doing that one when you don’t request it as well, just in case you were too shy to ask! I love doing 'spin' too and I'm getting pretty good at the 'touch' game.
I show off my smarts on our walks too; I know my left from right, so once we’ve stopped at the corner to check for cars, just let me know which way to go! As I don’t like other dogs and I find little kids scary too, I stay away from them & we enjoy our walks in the early morning or late evening when it is quieter & more peaceful instead. Although I can get anxious sometimes with noises and new places, I'm learning to keep calm and relax. My foster mama says I'm doing really well and she's very proud of me.
You’d think, how could this dog get any better? But I’m full of surprises! I’m a great watch dog and really good in the house. I take myself out to the toilet in the morning and again before bed and I’ve never made a mess inside. I happily stay indoors while you’re at work and keep an eye on the place.
Then when you get home, I give a super warm welcome with the happiest tail wag and full-body wiggle you’ve ever seen! I love our long walks before curling up together for a snuggle.
Let's Wrap it up: We’re going to be best friends, I just know it. If you’re ready to meet the most beautiful brindle lovebug (that's me!), email my friends at DFL today and tell them Bindi sent you!
