Bumble

What a sweetheart!

Bumble is a loving and sweet natured boy. He has a beautiful soft and fluffy coat that does not tangle easily. Bumble has formed a strong bond with his carers quite quickly and is very affectionate towards them. He loves to get attention in the form of pats and cuddles, and is even discovering the beauty of tummy rubs. Bumble has a delightful and friendly personality, and he is happy to say hi to new people with a little lick on the hand. He can be a little anxious in loud or very busy environments so is best suited to a relaxed and quieter household.

During his time in care, Bumble has met and lived with a whole range of dogs and gets along with everyone. He has become good mates with some and enjoys playing games with his friends. Bumble also used to live with a range of other pets such as cats, chickens, birds and ducks without issue. He enjoys getting out and about for a walk on the lead and although he is only a little dog this should be a part of his daily life so that the remains healthy and happy.

Bumble came to us quite thin and with little to no training. His current carer is working on teaching him to sit but he is generally well behaved. Bumble would require more training to be let off lead outside of an enclosed dog area as he has never been taught recall. He could benefit from some group training classes to build the bond between him and his new family, and get extra socialisation. Bumble was not toilet trained before as he was locked inside but he is already taking himself outside if there is the opportunity. He sleeps in a crate at night and sleeps right through.

We are looking for a home where Bumble will be a part of the family. He would do best in a quieter household and with older or no children so that he can be relaxed. Bumble will require a home with another friendly dog for company and/or where someone is home more often than not so that he can get the attention that he deserves. He should be allowed inside to be with the family and will need a warm comfy bed inside to sleep on at night. Bumble is able to live harmoniously with a range of different pets.
