About Tess
Introducing Tess the 19 - 20 month old female Border Collie x Golden Retriever.
Tess is a bright and vibrant young girl who wants nothing more than to be an important part of someone's life. She will need to be an inside - Outside dog as she enjoys the company of people and involved in everything her people are doing.
Tess is a big strong girl so her new home will need to be prepared to invest plenty of time to not only exercising her but providing ongoing training. She gets along well with other dogs however is not keen to share the time and love of her family with others so may be best suited to a home with no other dogs.
Tess appears to get along with small animals such as cats but will need to be kept in secure fencing as she is inclined to chase stock.
Due to her nature and breeding Tess is not a backyard dog, she would excel at DOG SPORTS and make a great partner for someone wanting to participate in obedience or agility competitions. TESS NEEDS AN EXPERIENCED DOG OWNER. SHE IS NOT SUITABLE FOR A NOVICE. Tess is sensitive to the handlers energy level - calm and assertive handler is what Tess needs.
If you would like to know more about Tess and whether you are a match for this special girl please call Carolyn on 0427 221 231.
Tess will go to her forever home vaccinated, microchipped, desexed, flea and worm treated. Her adoption fee is $400.
