About Attila
Attila is a gorgeous gentle giant seeking to give endless affection and cuddles. He absolutely loves hanging with people and is great with all other dogs and kids. He has an easy going, loving personality and he’ll go wherever you go and will be greeting everyone on his way with a tail wag, seeking out those who look like they may give him affection.
A calm dog who is not fazed by much, he still has a streak of puppy in him requiring playtime and the need for a decent walk every day.
Around the house he is mostly a couch potato. If he could, he would prefer to sit on someones lap on the couch all day long. This, despite weighing 50 kgs and rapidly gaining weight (expecting to reach 60+ kgs).. When out and about this boy is happy to either frolic in the attention he gets around Sydney’s cafe’s, being showered with cuddles and squeals by a whole primary school class, or enjoy a well deserved mud bath when going for long walks in the bush. He will also do some crazy funny zoomies in the yard to keep you entertained when he has an occasional energy burst!
Attila does not seem to have any previous obedience training but in the few weeks he has been in care, he has learnt to sit and wait for his food (has no food aggression), sleep in his crate, and is fully toilet trained. Despite his lack of previous training he is easy to have around simply because of his gentle, easy going nature. It seems Attila is not used to being told what to do, so he can be a bit stubborn when expectations are put on him. His new family will have to be able to be the Alpha pack leader and be willing to continue working on this.
Due to his size, Attila would be best suited to a home with older children, and experienced large breed dog owners. As the sociable dog he is, he would very much prefer to have the company of another large dog to play with or someone who will be around most days and are able to include him fully in their lives.
This goof head is definitely showing all the potential to be someone’s best mate for life!

Don't see a breed attached to one of our dogs? That's because we don't breed label dogs of unknown genetic history. We can't guess at breeds but that's okay, because we can tell you about the dog's individual personality, character, and behaviour.
