Rusty

Hi My name is Rusty and I am a bundle of energetic love.
I am a Border Collie x German Shorthair Pointer so I am super clever. I love to creep, stalk and round up my foster siblings and point to fun items of interest.
As I am only a young pup so I have soooo much to learn and explore. My sits and eye contact with my foster humans is excellent, still figuring out my toileting, but I am getting the knack of it. Walking on the lead and my desire to puppy chew are things that need working on but I love my cow hooves and dog toys which provide me with lots of chew time and entertainment. I am also learning to have quite cuddle time - and especially having my tummy rubbed which does relax me.
I have been living with my foster sibling cat and although I am very curious and playful I have been very respectful of her especially with the help and guidance of my foster humans.
Because of my breed mix I will need a good run morning and night - or even having a patient and fun loving dog to live and share my wrestle sessions and adventures with would be great. An active and social family would be my ideal match and I love car travel as it takes me to wonderful destinations with my humans.
I love my food so training and learning basic manners will be fairly easy if my humans are firm and fun and reward me with TREATS!!!
I can be quite vocal but have settled down when I am ignored.
I am currently crate trained, and I love this as my warm cosy safe haven during the night and to keep me out of too much mischief, and it is working wonderfully as I sleep right through the night without too much disruption.
I am super clever and I want you to take me to puppy school and obedience training so I can be top of the class.
