Abra, Kadabra, Magic, Hocus and Pocus

These poor chookies have had a hard life. Abra, Kadabra, Hocus and Pocus started their lives as battery hens. Things looked up for them when they were rescued by the RSPCA, however sadly since then they've needed to be rescued a second time. This time, we're hoping for the happily ever after that these girls deserve, with a permanent and loving home. All girls in typical isa brown fashion are friendly. Kadabra was unwell when we rescued her, and was on a course of antibiotics, but happy to say she has turned around and made a miraculous recovery! She's currently packing on the weight, to match her sisters.

Magic is not a pure isa brown, and it's possible she's the offspring of one of the above girls. She is multicoloured, and in my opinion the prettiest, but is still a bit flighty. She does come round with some treats though.

How I tell all these girls apart:
Abra (the reddest hen. Alpha.)
Kadabra (growing out some feathers around her neck. Leg tag ends in 73)
Magic (multicoloured girl who stands out)
Hocus (lightest feathers on her back.)
Pocus (the "other" one. Process of elimination leads you to Pocus, who is a very sweet girl).

All hens have been wormed, lice and mite treated. Not carrying any parasites, and are now in great health. It would be lovely if these girls were adopted as a group, however we can rehome them in pairs if you don't have space for them all. They all get along remarkably well, with no bullying (but if someone were to be bullied, it would be Magic who is at the bottom of the hierarchy).
