About Rosie ~ Staffy x ~ 9 months (on trial 10/06/17
Hello. My name is Rosie and I’m a 9-month-old brindle Staffy X. I am a loving, playful, young dog that loves to cuddle and play with everyone I meet. My foster mums say that I have a face that’s full of curiosity and adventure. My favourite games are tug-of-war and fetch, and chasing bubbles!
I enjoy playing with my toys, getting cuddles, and playing with my foster sister Lucy. I love going on adventures around my backyard and exploring the little nooks and crannies. Because I love playing with other dogs, my foster mums think that I will be a lot happier if my forever home has another dog there for me to play with so I don’t feel lonely.
I’ll grow up to be a medium sized dog. I am very good with children of all ages. I can get excited sometimes but I am very gentle around little ones. I think I would be more suitable for a home with children over the age of 5.
I spend most of my day outside playing with my toys and my foster mums. I enjoy coming inside and sitting on my special blanket and spending time with my foster family. I’m house trained and will sit and wait patiently for my food. I walk nicely on a lead. I’ll enjoy showing you how much more I can learn.
I will be an excellent addition to anyone’s home if I am given the opportunity. I have given my foster mums lots of love and reasons to smile. I’m ready to find my forever home; I’m just waiting for someone to pick me!
If you would like to learn more about me you can contact my foster mums Suzannah: 0401 383 156 or Kassandra on 0421 507 511 or email suziekate@me.com or Kassandra.manolis92@gmail.com. They will tell you how much they have enjoyed me staying with them until I find my forever home.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire. Word format: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx or PDF: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.pdf
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
