Biscuit

What can we say out Biscuit? This guy is special - and boy does he like to hear it!

Biscuit is sweet, intelligent, kind and a VERY willing learner. Although he is a puppy, he's able to show a remarkable ability to calm down and focus when required.

This guy is super intelligent, even for his breed - check out some of his tricks in the attached video. So far he knows 'sit', 'drop', 'spin', 'roll over' and 'high five'. He can also follow a gesture to jump 'over' and knows the command 'through' to run through a tunnel obstacle. Biscuit has almost got 'bed' down pat, and he is learning to 'leave' when we are out and about. Biscuit (with some encouragement) is able to 'wait' for his dinner and is learning 'release' when he's been asked to 'wait' or 'sit'. He is fantastic on the lead for a pup so young, and is very good at respecting where you want to walk rather than sitting behind, or pulling on the lead. Biscuit has lived with cats, but is still learning how to show his love for them with a little bit less 'enthusiasm' as they usually find his level of affection a bit overwhelming! Biscuit is great in the car, and will curl up on his bed for a snooze until his chauffeur takes him to his next destination. Biscuit LOVES other dogs, but his enthusiasm can be a bit much for a lot of dogs and he is still learning appropriate social cues and developing his social skills.

Biscuit's ideal home is with an active family and a large backyard. Biscuit is best suited to a home where he can use his intelligence to perform a 'job'; for example agility, sheep trials, flyball, or even as a trained assistance/therapy dog. He is incredibly loyal!

Biscuit is currently living with "Bug" (another Border Collie X ACD) and they are a match made in heaven, playing together to their hearts' content! Biscuit would really love another home with a young, active dog - or ideally to be adopted out with his best mate "Bug".
