About Leta & Felix
Leta is the absolutest sweetest girl I have had the pleasure of fostering! Leta was dumped at a vet clinic with her litter of kittens, and is looking for her forever home. She is only a young girl herself, and despite having rubbish thrown at her and her babies by people on the worksite she had them in, she still came straight over to anyone at her cage door in the clinic, looking for a cuddle. She desperately wants someone to love and fuss over her!
This darling girl was named Leta after the goddess of motherhood, because she has been a truly amazing mum! Even after her kittens were weaned and she was desexed, Leta took some orphan babies under her wing as though they were her own. She even let them nurse despite not being able to produce milk! She has so much love to share and can't wait to find a family to give it back.
Felix was dumped at the vet with his siblings as a young kitten and is now ready for his forever home! He is a super playful, outgoing boy who purrs his head off as soon as you walk in the room. Felix would love a family of his own to play with and then snuggle up with at night, and would suit children as well. He is a sweet boy just waiting for his forever family to take him home and give him the attention he craves!
Leta and her baby boy Felix have never been apart and are so attached that she howls if he is on the other side of the room and she can't find him! They spend every moment together and snuggle up with each other to sleep at night, and walk around the house with their tails intertwined. As they are so bonded they can not be separated and must be rehomed as a family.

Our animals are rescued from various pounds and shelters and placed in Foster Care until a permanent home can be found. Our volunteer Foster Carers are located throughout Sydney, Australia and are only too happy to assist you.
DCH Animal Adoptions relies solely on our adoption fees and the generous support of the community to continue our rescue work. Many times, we are faced with large veterinary bills due to the illness and injury that comes along with looking after pound rescues.
