Charlie - On Hold Pending Adoption

Charlie is a beautifully bred male german shepherd who has come into our care. Charlie is just 18 months old and is still an adolescent so is learning quickly and now sits, drops and recalls - he is also walking well on a lead and his foster carer says he is such a good boy. Charlie is now fully housetrained and is a pleasure to have around. Charlie is a gentle shepherd who loves a cuddle and likes to sit beside you with his head on your lap. He is currently in care with another german shepherd male dog and is very social and enjoys company. He is not suitable for a family with cats but is very good with children. Charlie needs a family who are committed to providing him with a loving stable home and regular exercise. He would make an ideal companion dog for another shepherd or large breed dog. Charlie needs to channel his energy and will need daily walks and playtime. Charlie will grow into a 35 kilo dog. He loves water and romps happily in his clam shell filled with water and probably would be an ideal dog to take to a beach or dam for a swim. Charlie is a loveable young dog who will grow into a loyal, intelligent companion animal. He is not a barker but will let you know if someone is around as most shepherds do
