Someone home a lot.

Hi my name is Jake. I’ve been told I look just like Mr. Chubbs so I’m praying I get snapped up as quickly as he did because I hate being in a run.
I’m very upset and stressing badly so please someone come and adopt me soon.
I’m a very good boy but need someone home a lot for company so I would make a retired couple very happy or someone that works from home.
I went to obedience school some years ago so I’m easy to live with. I like riding in the car, I’m house trained and know quite a few commands such as sit, drop, stay, no, off, shake and gentle.
I’m scared of lightening and thunder and loud noises like lots of dogs are.
I’m a bit fearful of other dogs rushing at me so don’t want to go to any off leash parks.
Sadly due to family circumstances which is out of anyone’s control I’ve found myself needing a new home. Please don’t judge my owners as they didn’t want to give me up but had no choice. My mum has even written a few words which I will copy and paste below.

My mums notes;
Jake loves people and loves being part of the family. He is more than happy to chill out on the couch for hours and is absolutely food obsessed. He will make you laugh with him facial expressions and mannerisms. He is loyal and affectionate. When friends have house and dog sat him they absolutely fall in love with him. He is an intelligent dog and will try and get his way, if he wants attention from you, he will let you know e.g. when I work from home if he wants a cuddle he will literally sit on my laptop till he gets one. At times, he will cry when he wants something. He doesn’t like to be outside and has a fear of being locked outside. He will go outside for toilet or if the back door is left open, he will go outside and lay in the sun on his own terms. He has been spoilt but has been my world for the last 10 years, he is my little shadow and follows me to the toilet and waits in the bathroom whilst I shower, he just loves being with people and included.
It is breaking my heart to say goodbye to my boy, I love him to death. A family with teenagers or a retired couple would be great for Jake, but with no other pets.
