About Pizza
Ciao! Pizza's the name and I'm in search of a new home.
I've been on a weight loss journey for a while now and I'm hoping to continue this journey with my new carers. It is important that I reach a healthy weight as the extra love handles on my curvy figure are not particularly good for my hip joints. Unfortunately recent X-rays showed that I have hip dysplasia and this will be an ongoing issue which the staff here are happy to explain this further.
I am overall a very happy chap as you can see from my charming smile, although thunderstorms do give me a fright so I have a jacket to help keep me calm. I enjoy just spending time with my carers and interestingly as a healthy treat, I love chinese cabbage!
I am very calm around other dogs and at my previous home I was told that I'm great around children too. If you think you have room for a gentle giant like me, please give the Adoption Hub a call to organise a meet and greet with me.
Medical notes
Requires weight loss. Suffers hip displaysia and this will be ongoing.
