About Tiddles
Hi there everyone, it’s Tiddles here, and I’m on the look out for a new human.
You see, my old human had to go into an aged care facility and couldn’t take me with her. I was devastated, not to mention confused, as I’ve been with my human since I was born, and I’m nearly 9 years old now. She’s all I’ve ever known, and I’m still trying to adjust to life without her.
My foster mum has been looking after me really well, but she has a little human that scares me, and I’d much rather have a forever home without any of these little fast moving, noisy creatures. I prefer my humans to be 12 and over.
Ideally, I’d love another single older person or couple to take me in and love me, as that’s what I’m used to and most comfortable with.
I don’t really enjoy the company of other cats, I live with 5 of them currently and it’s been really stressful for me, and would much prefer to be your only pet.
My old human loved me a little too much, and by that I mean she fed me too much! I am a tad overweight, and my new human will need to be very strict with my diet and help me shed some pounds.
I don’t much care for being picked up, and I’m not a lap cat, but i might be given the right environment away from other cats and young children. I did love to sit on my old humans lap.
Now that we’ve got that minor negative stuff out of the way, let’s move on to the good stuff!
I’m a stunning cat to look at with my glorious long fur and piercing green eyes.
I’m a very low maintenance girl, and I’ll happily sleep in the nearest cupboard, coming out to have a roll around in a nice sunny spot. I love to perch on the top of the couch and gaze out the window.
I really love cupboards, and I’m very clever and have figured out how to open every cupboard in the house.
I love having my chin and head patted, and will rub up against your legs for a pat.
I don’t jump on benches or scratch furniture.
I love playing with toys, especially the dangly ones on sticks.
I’ll be waiting for you at the door when you get home to greet you with a leg rub and a meow about how your day was.
I’d better wrap things up, so I’ll finish by saying – I know I’m no spring chicken and I might be carrying a few extra pounds, but I really hope that someone will see me for the lovely girl I am, and open up their heart and home to give an old girl a second chance. After all, don’t we all deserve one?
If you think you could welcome Tiddles with open arms, please apply now, as she desperately wants to find her new home.
Medical notes
Tiddles is desexed, vaccinated, microchipped and up to date with flea and worm treatments.
