About Hantz
If you love big, gorgeous, boofy dogs, you can't go past Hantz!!
He is one amazing dog and is just the most beautiful natured boy with a lust for your love and affection. He enjoys a good head rub and will burrow his head into you with a soft groan if you hit the right spots. He enjoys climbing up on the lounge for a cuddle and will happily sleep tucked up beside you ( as much as you can tuck a huge body!).
He's good with other dogs and likes to play with others if they want to. If they want to be left alone, he's fine with that too and will trot off and go do his own thing. He's quite unfazed by any negative behaviour toward him and just doesn't really care, besides, I think he much prefers the company of us humans anyway.
He's really well behaved in the house and will usually be found asleep in the sun or on a bed, snoring the day away. He's house trained and very easy going and will sleep through the night with no issue. He can easily be left alone inside the house whilst you're out and nothing will be touched, chewed or broken. He likes to follow you around the house, get cuddles, snooze and eat, that's the extent of his repertoire!
Hantz doesn't have all the usual training stuff like sit and drop, but you just don't notice because he's so easy to have around and will pretty much do what you want. He'd also like a nice daily walk to sniff around the neighbourhood and meet all the residents. He loves meeting new people and is very friendly with all. His lead training could be improved but he is easily corrected.
If you're looking at a dog like this, you need to be large breed experienced, willing to offer a premium quality diet to keep his joints and bones healthy and understand that slobber will be all over your house and clothes and furniture too and have a car large enough to fit this boy. He'll need a soft comfy bed for his heavy body and be allowed inside with the family, slobber and all.
Hantz is looking for a home with a loving family that are happy to include him in their lives, be at home most days and if you have another dog at home for some company, that's good too. Whilst untested with cats and pocket pets, I'd doubt he'd be a problem with the right introductions and supervision.
He is fully grown and whilst not giant, he is very solid and currently weighs 63kg and most of that is just his big boof head!!
A special boy needing a special family. If interested in Hantz, please apply by following our process listed below.

Don't see a breed attached to one of our dogs? That's because we don't breed label dogs of unknown genetic history. We can't guess at breeds but that's okay, because we can tell you about the dog's individual personality, character, and behaviour.
