About Bailey ~ Cattle dog x (On trial 11/7/17)
Bailey is a very happy 6 month old cattle x boy.
Bailey is still young and has a lot of energy so he would love to be a part of an active family or couple who will take him for lots of walks or runs and play games with him. He loves going to the beach and playing with the other dogs. He is also very good with children and very gentle.
Bailey has learnt to sit and comes when he is called. He will learn so much more with some ongoing training. He spends most of his time outside but loves when he is allowed to come inside and be a part of the family. He is toilet trained and will go to the door when he needs to be let out. Bailey enjoys his food and is not aggressive at all. He does not bark unless someone is near the property. We are currently teaching him not to jump up on people when he gets excited and he is doing really well at listening.
Bailey is great with other dogs and is very friendly. Bailey has lived with all different ages and breeds and gets along with everyone. His favourite thing is getting a big meaty bone to chew on.
Bailey loves to play with all sorts of toys. He doesn’t jump fences or dig holes. If you are looking for a companion to love and add an extra bit of fun and laughter to your life Bailey is the boy for you. He is the sweetest most loving boy you could meet.
For more information or to meet Bailey, please contact his foster carer Claire on 0421989330. Bailey is in foster care in Thornton, NSW and is available for adoption interstate.
Bailey's adoption fee is $450 and he is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped, and lifetime registered.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire. Word format: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx or PDF: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.pdf
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
