About Woody
Woody is the kind of guy that everyone wants to hang out with. He brings the party - he is the party. Woody is a lad – he’s a happy kind of guy with energy to burn, who loves a cuddle or a game of fetch. He’s awesome at all his obedience and just LOOOOVEs his rewards – which are cuddles. When you pat him, he will put his enormous ears back and stare adoringly into your eyes. For most people, that’s the point at which they fall in love with this big goofball.
Woody is quite a large, energetic young dog and needs people who are willing to continue working with him and training him so all his zany energy is channeled appropriately. At this point, he would not suit a home with children - or other dogs – although teenagers would be fine and he doesn’t really seem to care about cats. Woody needs a home with plenty of space to run and good fencing as his standing leap would put Michael Jordan to shame (he does not go over fences or even try). Mostly he needs someone who will have the time to spend with him, to help him continue his training and grow from the lovable rat bag he is right now, to the perfect gentleman he has the potential to become.
Medical notes
Woody has sensitive skin so adopters need to look out for irritants but these are easily controlled, and he has no other major medical requirements.
