Timbo

Hi! I'm Timbo, and I'm a lovely boy. Sadly, I had a rough start to life 😞. With new people and new places I can be very timid and shy, but my foster parents have been working with me and now I am so much better! Once I get to know you, I will follow you around to watch what you're doing. I'm also the ultimate 'lap cat' - where ever you sit, I will jump up and sit on your lap and either watch TV with you or snooze. I'm also very chatty and will tell you about my day while you walk around the house or get my food ready

My ideal foster family will understand that I am scared and will take a couple of weeks to come out of hiding! I may sometimes hiss if you get too close, but it's just because I am scared and don't know you. Once I get to know you (give me food - I will learn that you are good then!) I will come out and demand lots of pats! I will talk and head butt you till you give me big full-body pats. And if you sit down, I will curl up in your lap and go to sleep.

Timbo took 2-3 weeks to come out of hiding and learn that we wouldn't hurt him. He is now a lovely addition to the family and will ask for cuddles at every opportunity!
