About Milo ~ lovely 1yo Kelpie x boy (on trial 10/06/17)
Milo is a stunning 1 year old, male, Kelpie X boy. This gorgeous boy aims to please and loves to make his family happy.
Milo is currently living with 5 other dogs of all ages and sizes and an indoor cat, he loves the resident children and just wants to be a part of a loving family. He currently is happy sleeping outside so long as he has a warm bed in a sheltered area.
Milo is not a barker or a jumper. He has learnt sit and is now learning to wait for his dinner and to lie "down". Milo is very eager to please which makes him a fast learner.
Milo can be quite energetic at playtime and will need a decent size yard. He is learning how to play fetch and also loves his walkies and playing chase with his foster sisters and brothers, but he also knows when it's time to settle down and will happily snuggle quietly on your lap. Snuggles are his favourite thing ever!
Milo would be best suited to a home that has the time to spend with him or, if working, have another dog of similar size and energy levels to keep him company.
For more information or to meet Milo, please contact his foster carer Kat on 0415 449 053 or email katlewis1987@gmail.com. Milo is located in Aberglasslyn, NSW (west of Newcastle) and is available for adoption interstate.
Milo's adoption fee is $450 and he is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped, and lifetime registered. You can see all of our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire. Word format: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx or PDF: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.pdf
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
