About “Sassy”, Loving, Gentle and Trusting. Brisbane
Darling Sassy has such a sweet nature, she was born to make someone a wonderful pet! She gets on well with anyone and everyone, including other dogs large and usually smalls. Most of all, she loves humans, and likes to show her affection with a whole-body wiggle or a wildly wagging tail. Sassy has a special fondness for her foster carers’ grandchildren, patiently letting them pat her all over, and even playing ball for a while (although she needs a lie-down afterwards!)
Sassy is very calm and patient, even when she’s having her teeth brushed, or getting a bath. She’s not possessive of her bed or food bowl, and responds obediently to a firm ‘uh-uh’ when she sneaks onto furniture that she’s not allowed to sit on (although when you back is turned.... let's just say she has penchant for the finer things in life). Sassy likes to steal clothes but never destroys them - she just snuggles up with them and goes to sleep! Sassy is ok with time outdoors, but much prefers being inside, and knows to tell her humans when she needs a toilet break. Like most greyhounds, Sassy doesn’t ask for much, as long as she gets regular walks (which she loves), a bit of playtime, and plenty of opportunities to lie on her back for a tummy rub and a cuddle.
This beautiful, gentle soul is full of appreciation for finally having the chance to do what she does best – to love and be loved in return.
Sassy has a real affection for her foster sister, Rosie. If you are interested in adopting two greyhounds, please consider Sassy and Rosie as a pair:
