About Napoleon
This gorgeous mixed boy is 8 year old Napoleon! He is a sweet Pug x Jack Russell. Napoleon was very boisterous when he arrived, but we think he was just so excited to be here!
Once he realised he was staying, he settled and became the most loving & devoted boy anyone could wish for. You could cuddle him all day he is so adorable and grateful.
Napoleon is great with kids! Great with cats and is great with the five other dogs that live in his foster home and they are mostly males. He is sometimes challenged when new pugs arrive but can be quickly snapped out of it.
This little man arrived with a limp in his front leg that was causing him pain. X-rays revealed mild hip dysplasia, most likely congenital. His front shoulder, however, was the cause of his pain. He has bursitis which is an inflammation of the bursa sacs (they help the joint work properly and painlessly). Treatment is easy, anti inflammatory injections quarterly and a joint supplement daily. He has been on daily pain relief to get him over the worst of it. Napoleon doesn't let it get him down, he is a happy boy! 😀
Napoleon plays with his fur friends, races out the door with the pack to see what's going on, cuddles on the lounge, plays tug of war, sunbakes & enjoys short walks. Like all pugs, he is excited to see his food, but sits on command. Loves going for car rides and sits quietly during the journey. He waits patiently when his foster family goes out and doesn't bark unnecessarily.
If you feel you could provide this sweet boy with a loving forever home please follow the link and complete an application form.
