Max is super loyal to his family. He'll be your protector and has a good bark to let you know people are coming onto the property and lets his loved ones know how happy he is to see you with a crazy wagging tail and a lick if you're not quick enough to dodge it. He's also on point to protect you from such horrors as the vacuum cleaner and the broom...

Snuggly as anything, house trained and no food aggression at all, he needs to run run run and will chase a ball for as long as you will throw it. He sits very well and will shake hands before feeding. He is super dog-friendly when at off-leash parks and has been great on regular weekly runs with a large pack but is still excitable on a lead. He could be an awesome dog for an attentive owner.

It would be great to find him a place with another dog who likes to play all day, he is great company for them and they can keep each other entertained. If he were left alone with nothing to do and nobody to play with he might get up to mischief. Should probably not be housed with chickens or pocket pets. Is slowly coming around to cats and they to him as he settles in.
