About Colin
Colin is a typical active young Kelpie boy. Hes fun. Loving. Adorable. And full of energy. He would do best in a home that understands the requirements behind an active Kelpie boy.
He loves to move and groove and rumble and play. So a home that wants an active member to the household is essential. One that can exercise him both physically and mentally so he stays sane.
A home with another playful dog would suit him well. One that can keep up with him and play.
He is only a small boy. Around 10 kilos. So definitely a western plains style boy. And will only be quite petite when fully grown.
He is suitable for rural fencing and properties and may suit a household that's looking for an active farm boy.
But he may suit a home that's in suburbia if they can keep him active and social.
We would recommend 6ft fencing for him. Just as a precaution as we don't quite know if he can jump any fencing as he hasn't shown any signs in foster care.
Being so young, Colin may suit a home with young kids, cats or any other animals. He has met horses and chickens (in a coop) with no issues in foster care and is in care with an abundance of other dogs who he loves to rumble and play with.
Colin is located on the central coast and his adoption fee is $400.
Adoption details
In the ENQUIRY SECTION please explain in LENGTH some basics about yourself/ your life/ your household and what type of life you can provide for one of our rescue animals.
If successful, you would be contacted by phone, where we will talk about your enquiry and potentially organise a meet and greet between you/ your dogs/ your family and the potential candidate
From there, you can either take your animal with you if the meet and greet was successful and their vet work has been completed- or if the vet work hasn't been completed, you must wait until it's finished before taking your new friend home which will be organised between yourself and the foster carer.
Every animal has a 2 week trial period.
